About the Role
An Independent school in Brent requires a creative Art Teacher, starting ASAP for a temporary, full-time position. You will deliver inspiring art lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4. We require a dedicated Art Teacher.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Art Teacher lessons, covering various mediums and techniques.
- Prepare students for assessments and exhibitions.
- Develop students' artistic skills and creativity.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of art resources.
- Organise and potentially lead art-related extracurricular activities.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Art.
- Proven experience in teaching art at secondary level.
- Strong artistic skills and knowledge of art history.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students.
